Puppy School
Designed for pups 8-16 weeks of age
A wonderful
introduction to life experiences, socialisation and basic requests
(sit, drop, stay, recall). At this time in your pup's life it is
critical that he become familiar with different sounds, that he gets
to learn how to play appropriately and gets to meet a variety of
people. What better way to do this than training in a safe
environment with pups of a similar age?
All of our classes
are small to provide you with the best training possible - ensuring
maximum attention to each and every pup and their human companions
in a controlled, positive environment - it is all about quality
rather than quantity in respect to a pup's happy and confident
development. Bookings are essential to hold your place.
Puppy class covers
basic skills, how to manage typical puppy behaviours with
instruction on basic training, handling, grooming and preventative
healthcare. Puppies are taught to be calm during training sessions.
The play sessions are closely monitored so that the pups learn how
to play and interact politely. They also provide opportunity for
the human students to learn how to identify what is appropriate and
safe play.
You will receive
experienced advice, weekly handouts, your own manual regarding
responsible ownership and behaviour modification, an e-book to help
you and your puppy through life's early stages and phone and email
support during this time.
You may also want
to consider an in-house consultation at this time in your pup's
life. This is an excellent way to set your pup up for life; training
in the environment your pup is spending the majority of his time:
toileting, playing with the cat, walking on lead, safety and any
issues pertinent to your household. These sessions run for 2 hours
in length at a cost of $150, and include relevant written training
information; and are followed up to see how you are going and if you
have any concerns. One hour follow up home consultations are also
possible.
